Camp Koinonia

Camp Koinonia is an annual two week summer drama/music camp that helps youth develop their skills and also teaches them lifelong Godly principles.  Camp Koinonia was formed in 2006 when Kathi Derse, Asali Anderson and I (Tamara Mailhot) had a vision to see more local, christian based activities for youth specifically in the area of drama/music.  

The name Koinonia is a greek word meaning "fellowship."  The purpose of this camp is to create fellowship among all campers and leaders, while working toward a common goal.  The campers work together for two weeks on a musical that is performed on the final night of the camp.  Each year the script and music centers around a Christian theme that is taught not only through the production but is integrated throughout all activities of the camp.
